For the Monkey’s birthday, we spent the day in Boston. First, lunch at Veggie Galaxy, then the MIT Museum just down the street on Mass Ave. An underrated aspect of this invention-centric museum is this excellent pink wall, and some pretty minimalist machines:

 We took advantage of one of the first days of spring by walking across the bridge, down Newbury, and into South End for dinner and jazz at the Beehive:

A highlight of the day was breaking out my fabulous Button Button fascinator. I’d been waiting for an occasion since its purchase straight from Hannah, the designer, at an Edinburgh Christmas market!
