Happy tea time! Here’s the latest episode of FabulosiTEA, in which Caroline and I discuss how to plan a holiday – of the Roman variety, and otherwise. Check out the show notes for links and travel style inspo from Gossip Girl.
Plus, 6 tips for traveling Xandra-style:
[Paris, France] I recommend the Moleskine city notebooks! They have maps in the beginning, but the rest is a blank book with space to fill in your own adventures.
[Lacock, England] Hang out with sheep in a field! Oh, but also, ask the locals for advise, be they bloggers or that random dude you meet on a bus in Seattle before he longboards off.
[Bath, England] Nothing like perusing the streets and shelves for a new read. Bonus points for purchasing a book set in the place you’re visiting![San Francisco, USA] It’s okay to stop for a break, especially somewhere atmospheric, like a quaint coffeeshop, or a seaside café where you can stop and enjoy the view!
[Manila, Philippines] Crêpes taste better in France, bagels taste better in New York, English breakfast, well, you see where this is going.
[Asturias, Spain] Whether it’s a down country road, up a mountain, or through a bustling city, walking is my favorite method of transportation.
[Boston, USA] Don’t forget that there are adventures to be had in your own backyard. Plus, build up a repertoire of favorite places to take your guests!
