In other words, dress to theme.
If you’re going to Hong Kong’s Ocean Park to visit the pandas, wear your panda dress and panda heels (alas, not shown, but there nonetheless!).
And if your wardrobe does not match so conveniently, I’m not saying go buy a panda dress (but seriously – you don’t have one already?!). Instead make a fashion decision based on your activity. I love doing this for cinema trips – I wore all black and white to see The Artist and a maxi slip-dress for Breakfast at Tiffany’s (bottom right). Dress up like a flower for a springy occasion.
Why do this? It’s fun, and puts me in a conscious mindset to enjoy what I’m about to attend.
Do you dress to theme? I’d love to hear your examples.
