Even within the constraints of my few items of clothing, I had no trouble dressing to this theme – Maybe it’s because of all the Fitzgerald on my reading list, but I seem to live in 1920s attire anyway.

How’s this for an idea: invest in a nice pair of gloves to top it off, and only go to 20’s parties. Is this the minimalist fancy dress secret? Dress your wardrobe with the costume you wish you could wear only on silly occasions (be it a sparkly cardi or a 20s turban), add a few extra pieces (like a cat), and borrow any more from friends (like antennae). Hey, it might just work. What do you think?
