reading all of shakespeare’s sonnets is something i decided that i need to do. yes, my reading list tells me to, but my reading list gives me more than i can read, and this is one of the items i decided to prioritize, even though i could have just read a few. for the past few weeks i have read two pages (eight sonnets) each day. it is slow work, but rewarding work, and i will finish before term officially begins. the best sonnets are buried in the mix, and each new one read could reveal itself to be a new favorite. ★
