hooray! i have successfully shipped up to boston for the chirstmas season! now, while i live here, while i proudly claim it as my home when those english folk inquire as to why i don’t talk britsih-ly, and while i’ve spent many a saturday afternoon traipsing down newbury or reading in cambridge’s coffee shops, i have – oh dear – kind of lost touch with it. not to worry though. i have three weeks to study up and gain some bawston indie knowledge. i might even let you in on my secrets ;) i chose to stay home over whisking off for the usual nyc winter visit for this very purpose. restaurants, artsy places, shops, parks and walks – i’m on it.  

so, any beantown recommendations?
